Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is Coming to Xbox One, Per Xbox Store Listing

While the fervor for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 continues to mount, the exact launch date and platforms are still shrouded in mystery. Indirect confirmation from the Xbox Store listing and ongoing speculations hint at an end of October release. This information also aligns with the rumor that the availability of this product would span across both Xbox One and the latest Xbox Series X/S, including potential availability on older console generations.

Although specifics about the gameplay are sparse, reports suggest that Black Ops 6 might boast a completely open-world campaign. Woven within this narrative is a complex interpretation of the Gulf War and the roles of its key players. The recently debuted live-action trailer, featuring various political figures and their accompanying conspiracy theories, seems to support this claim.

The unveiling of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to take place during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th at 10 AM PT, with a subsequent Direct presentation offering further insights on different aspects. Its availability on Game Pass from the outset has been confirmed. However, this might exclude Game Pass Core, as was hinted in a recent tweet by Summer Game Fest producer Geoff Keighley.
